storyyo cookie policy
This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar techniques msplatenight.com uses, what they do and what choice you have.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. In one place we also use your browser storage. That works the same way and is listed below under what we store ourselves.
2. What we store ourselves
These two are needed to make the site work and do not ask for consent. They contain no data that identifies you and go to no other party.
● mspln_cookie_consent keeps the choice you made in the cookie notice, so that we do not ask again on every visit. It contains the version of the notice, your choice per category and the time. Kept for 180 days.
● evenement-weg remembers that you closed the event bar in the bottom right. It sits in your browser storage and disappears as soon as you clear it.
3. Statistics: Wistia
The episodes, the videos in the knowledge base, in the spotlight and in our blogs are played by Wistia (Wistia, Inc., United States). Wistia places cookies to measure which videos are watched and how far people watch. Without your permission we do not load that player: you get the video itself instead, as a plain file from Wistia's servers, without cookies and without measurement. Wistia explains its own cookies at wistia.com/privacy.
4. Marketing: Vimeo
The teasers on the front page and with the episodes are played by Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., United States). Vimeo places a cookie it can use to recognise you across different websites. Without your permission we load the Vimeo player with its ‘do not track’ setting: Vimeo then does not place that cookie. The network Vimeo runs on (Cloudflare) does place security cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance and __cf_ob), which are needed to deliver the video safely. Vimeo explains its cookies at vimeo.com/cookie_policy.
5. Calendar and polls: only after a click
On the contact page and on “joining us” there is a calendar from Calendly, and on the polls page a poll from Mentimeter. We do not load those by ourselves. You see a button, and only when you click it do we fetch the block. That click is your permission for that one block, and we do not remember it.
6. Hosting: Cloudflare
Our website runs at Cloudflare. In doing so Cloudflare sees your IP address; that is needed to send you the page and to protect the site.
7. What we do not use
We use no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no advertising networks and no cookies to show you personalised advertising. If you visited our previous website, a Google Analytics cookie from that time may still be on your device. We no longer use it; you can remove it through your browser settings.
8. Changing your choice
At the bottom left of every page there is a button with a cookie on it. That opens your preferences so you can change your choice whenever you like. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings; some videos will then not work.
9. Changes
If anything changes about the services we use, we will update this policy and ask for your choice again.
